A couple of days ago, Alan Kafton sent me my brand new Audiodharma Anniversary Edition Cable Cooker. Immediately upon receipt, I added the Black Cat Morpheus speaker cables and the Stereolab Draco interconnects, powered that sucker up and … walked away. I mean, the thing doesn’t work instantaneously or anything. Sheesh!
While I’m waiting, just a couple of notes. The unit is pretty industrial looking. It’s very clean and utilitarian looking. All the connectors and buttons and whatnot look and feel very solid and robust.
The $64k question is, how does it work? And that’ll have to wait till this weekend! Cables come off tomorrow and a fine music filled weekend awaits ….
