Well, it looks like I failed to make the cut in the last 3.7 production run. Bummer. According to Magnepan, the next run should start up in about 3 weeks, and my slot will be filled in that run, most probably. Paula at Magnepan said something about them needing to make “other speakers” or some such. Can you imagine? Other speakers? As if! But apparently, Magnepan does in fact sell something other than the wildly successful and crazily-in-demand 3.7. Who knew?
Well, this is pretty much what I expected when I placed the order in April –> an August delivery. Hoped for faster, but … wasn’t really expecting it.
In the meantime, here’s some light reading to whet your whistle.
