Well, it looks like the news isn’t all bad with Lion. I’ve upgraded my server (for fun and spite) and sure enough, everything is working fine. Drivers will be out for Weiss and Sonos (if they’re not already) and the audiophile players will get updates shortly. All will be well. And for my part, I think the server still sounds great.
In other news, I got an email from Tom Unger today:
Your MG3.7 is going into production now. If all goes as planned, they should be ready to ship next week.
Woo hoo!
Last but not least, I heard that all necessary parts had arrived at Berkeley Audio! That means that the Alpha USB orders will start shipping next week.
August is going to be expensive!
