Mid-stream update

I feel like it’s been a while since I put anything up — sorry for that.

Life. It happens.

I’ve been scribbling away on my review of the eFicion F300. I’ve taken approximately a million pictures, and they’re all ready to go. I just need to clean up a section or two and then I should be good to go — now, I just need to find the time to do it. Ha!

And that’s just to start.

I have a review of some marvelous little monitors called ( the clue ) from Sjöfn HiFi to finish next. I have most of what I need all ready to roll, just need a slot or three to stitch it together. Then, I’ve got some work to do on three different desktop systems. And one stunner of a headphone system. Oh, and I have cables here from Black Cat, High Fidelity and Triode Wire (all of which are outstanding, by the way). And a playback system from Mojo Audio. And maybe-possibly, a mega power filter from Silver Circle will be coming in any day now.

With luck, I’ll have all that cleared out before heading out to RMAF. Where I’ll be promptly buried by the 100 or so rooms that will need writing up. Ahem.

Big plate? Sure, but I’ve got a big mouth.

Anyway, that’s what I’m working on. Sorry for delay. In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorite YouTube dudes.

  1. “I feel like it’s been a while since I put anything up.” NINE DAYS! Nine long days with no word from you! That has to stop. 🙂 You’ve still got the best audio blog, though, and it was worth the wait. In that cello piece — why do all those guys look the same?

  2. Hey PTA, thanks for introducing me to the Piano Guys. I would like to love Classical music but too much of it extends way past my attention span. It is truly fun.
