Holiday Headphone Deals for your Geek Pulse and Geek Soul

Geek_Soul

Geek_Pulse_LPSI’ve seen a few interesting developments over at the LH Labs’ crowd-funding adventure for the Geek Pulse and Geek Soul, two DAC/headphone amplifiers, aimed at bringing their high-end sound to a less costly price point. Interestingly, they’re around headphones.

Specifically, what those rascally rabbits are up to is pairing. “Getiting a Geek Pulse? Well, what if I told you that you could also get a screaming deal on a pair of reference-grade cans to with it?” You dig?

So, if you were wondering what headphones to pair with your soon-to-be-shipping headphone DAC/amp, then here are four:

And that’s not all.

Also recently announced, the Geek IEM — an in-ear monitor specially made to pair with the upcoming Geek Wave (a portable digital audio player), and possibly your Geek Out, Geek Pulse and/or Geek Soul.

Geek IEM

Originally designed to be paired with our Geek Wave portable audio player, Geek IEM’s are earbuds built for audiophiles, but priced for the rest of us. Ready to be on the shelves of national retailers in the second quarter of next year, MSRP is slated at $159. Geek IEM’s are made of durable metal alloy (we call it AGM material) to control resonance for a natural sound. It’s ergonomically designed, attractive, and despite its diminuative size, gives you deep, warm bass notes thanks to its tuned enclosure. Because they’re ready earlier than we anticipated, this Cyber Monday only, you get a pre-retail discount of 76%.

We’re limiting the quantity each backer can buy to two pieces. We’ve put a lot of work into these in ear monitors, and are looking forward to shipping them with Geek Wave very soon.

  1. I am a backer of the campaign, but just wanted to let any future contributors know to be careful when selecting a perk. If you make a mistake and contribute to a wrong item, you won’t be able to get a refund since the campaign is technically already funded. So please be careful. Besides that issue got to give them credit for their great campaign. I sold some reliable product to contribute to Geek. I hope I made a good decision.
