For example, the phono preamplifier circuits are based on the same ideas originally applied to the MFSL Gain 2™ and Ultra Analog™ mastering chain and the phono cartridges employ a V-Twin Dual Magnet generator that mirrors the design of a lathe’s stereo cutter head.
Both turntables offer exceptional performance and value. They are designed to preserve the complete sound that is found on an Original Master Recording. I purchased the Studiodeck, upgraded from a U-Turn Orbit. So far I’m very happy with it although at roughly 4 hours I’m not near the break in period. To date, I have noticed significant increase in bass, the vocals are loud and very clear. My only complaint thus far is I feel the drum dynamics are less than I’m used too with the U-turn. I’m hoping this corrects itself as the table/cart break in.
