Made in Germany, the award-winning Concept turntable is the entry level to high-end analog performance. It is belt-driven by a low-noise, decoupled DC motor and plays at three speeds – 33rpm, 45rpm, and 78rpm – selectable by the Electronic Speed Control knob. The platter is machined from 30mm thick polyoxymethylene (POM), an engineering thermoplastic, with a weighted rim for increased fly-wheel effect providing greater speed stability. The platter interfaces with a stainless-steel sub-platter and bearing featuring polished tempered steel axle within sintered bronze bushings, and a mirror polished Teflon thrust pad. The chassis is a multi-layer resonance optimized design with an optional Baltic birch core, and leveling/locking feet.
