The A-Team is back! Part-Time Audiophile will send several intrepid journalists to cover the 2023 Florida Audio Expo this weekend in Tampa, Florida including Founder & Publisher Scot Hull, Editor-in-Chief Marc Phillips, The Occasional Podcast‘s Brian Hunter, and two of our newest reviewers, Matthew Partrick and Marc Smizak. (Yes, there will be two Marcs from PTA at the show, which should cause a modicum of confusion.)
2023 Florida Audio Expo coverage will start this Friday and stretch out over the next two weeks. After that, we will return for a few weeks of our regular programming until we attend AXPONA 2023 in Chicago in mid-April. What makes FLAX special, however, is it’s the first high-end audio show of the New Year, and who doesn’t want to take a quick detour to Florida in the middle of the winter?
Hopefully we’ll see many of our audiophile friends, both in and out of the audio industry, at the 2023 Florida Audio Expo. Here are a few of the rooms we look forward to visiting this weekend:
Acora Acoustics and VAC
BorderPatrol, Volti Audio and Triode Wire Labs
…and many, many more!
In addition, the 2023 Florida Audio Expo will host many seminars and events, plus there will be plenty of headphone exhibits as well. Many podcasts will be broadcasting highlights from the show, including our own The Occasional Podcast. Qobuz, as usual, will have a strong presence at the 2023 Florida Audio Expo.
The 2023 Florida Audio Expo will be held February 17-19 at the Embassy Suites Westshore, 555 N Westshore Blvd, Tampa, FL. Friday and Saturday hours are 10am-6pm, and Sunday hours are 10am-4pm. If you need any further information on FLAX 2023, check out their website.
I am not doing a turntable set up seminar this weekend in Florida! At AXPONA yes
Sorry about that! It’s fixed.
