This coming weekend, we’ll be covering Pacific Audio Fest 2023 in Seattle. This is the second annual show for PAF–we attended last year and it was one of the best inaugural high-end audio shows we’ve attended. This year, it looks like it will be even bigger–over 200 exhibitors will be there.
So far both Editor-in-Chief Marc Phillips and Senior Contributor Mohammed Samji will be wandering the hallways and conference rooms of the Doubletree-Hilton, checking out some of the most exciting product introductions of the year. What are we excited about the most? Hard to say, but we’ll try.
Audio Group Denmark will actually be playing their new Borresen M6 flagship monitors (at $550,000/pr!). We saw these in a static display at Munich last month, but at Pacific Audio Fest 2023 we’ll be able to sit down and take a listen.
The Nola Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 that Marc Phillips heard at Dr. Vinyl’s this spring will also be at Pacific Audio Fest 2023. These $150K/pr beauties made a huge impression in Baltimore, and we’re hoping they’ll be a huge hit in Seattle as well.
JMF from France will also be at Pacific Audio Fest 2023, showing off some of the gorgeous amplification that impressed us so much in Munich. In fact, the all-JMF system was one of our picks for Best Sound at Show.
Many other brands will be showing off their latest products–ModWright Instruments and their LS 99 preamplifier and KWA 99 power amplifier, a new entry-level speaker line from Genesis Advanced Technologies, and a turntable from Klaudio that appears to employ a fluid-filled platter. Plus, many more.
Pacific Audio Fest 2023 will be the last high-end audio show that we cover at Part-Time Audiophile during this very busy show season. There will be only one show left to cover–the Capital Audiofest in the Metro DC area, which takes place in November. We have lots of reviews for the summer months, so stick around!
