T.H.E. Show at Newport Beach 2016

This was the year that T.H.E. Show ended. Our good friend Richard Beers, the long-time showrunner for The Home Entertainment Show had died a few months earlier, and audiophiles from across the world had gathered in Southern California to wander around in his creation. A fine time was had by all.

As for Richard, I’ll always remember his ready smile, raspy laugh and bawdy jokes. He was a good friend.

There will be no more from T.H.E. Show at Newport Beach. That show has been shuttered, shattered and scattered. Others have stood up in their place, and we’re optimistic for their chances. Time moves on even as we do not.

So, here is the last of T.H.E. Show as I knew and loved it. And what a high note to leave in on!
