WASHINGTON DC (PTA) — Making the short trip to our nation’s capital, we had the pleasure to meet with Finley Audio. Finley Audio is a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania based company, with all production taking place here in the USA.
Currently Finley Audio produces Power, Interconnects (both RCA and XLR), and dedicated Phono cables, with Speaker cables to come in the near future.
Two lines comprise the product mix: the entry level Stratus Series which for the show had special pricing starting at $145-meter USD for all cables in that line, and the Cirrus Series for more resolving systems which starts at $1,400-meter USD for Interconnects, and $985-meter USD for Power (possibly special show pricing as well).
On display at the show, were examples of each series and style of cable with termination. Finley Audio launched in 2018, and operates currently as a direct sales company, but is exploring the option of using a dealer network.
Finley Audio is Michael Van Voorhis, Dan Halchak, Chris Doman, and Billy Hanna. All four have backgrounds as audiophiles, tweak-ers, and tinker-ers in the hobby of hi-fi. Together they have assembled quite the product line, and have more than enough experience between them to pull this venture off two-times-over.
We’ll keep a close eye on Finley Audio going forward, and can’t wait to see what comes next from this outfit.
